Training Initiative
We are internationally acknowledged as the leading training provider for medical professionals, make-up artists, therapists and beauty therapy tutors.
The course is designed to equip them with the principles and skills necessary to undertake clinical, media, salon and college practice.
- the course, spanning four days, is periodically held in Chester and, subject to status, throughout the year at your place of work
- the Training Initiative is an accredited Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Short Professional Course and has been awarded 30 study hours
- the training initiative is accredited with 30 hours C.P.D. by the Institute of Maxillofacial Prosthesis & Technologists
- a minimum of 33 hours continuing professional development (C.P.D.) accreditation from the Hair and Beauty Industry Authority
- endorsed by the College of Occupational Therapists
- graduate’s diploma is accepted for indemnity purposes by medical and industrial authorities and agencies, usually at no additional premium cost
- the training adopts a holistic approach and includes tutorials and practical workshops led by highly qualified BASC tutors and specialist speakers
- each trainee receives a large selection of camouflage samples and applicator kit as well as a wealth of handout material, related samples and information literature
- upon successful completion the graduate will be eligible to apply for BASC Practitioner Membership

Refresh Your Camouflage Skills (one-day seminar)
Held annually at various locations, and subject to status at your place of work. Led by our tutorial team the day is specifically designed for qualified skin camouflage practitioners, and to meet the request for CPD events. A typical event would include:
- up-dating information sessions and quality workshop
- an opportunity to explore new technology and products
- 8 hours continuing professional development is awarded by HABIA for the event

Camouflage Application to Post Mortem Skin
The one-day training is specifically designed to provide a comprehensive programme which includes tutorials and workshops on skin camouflage application techniques to post mortem skin for professionals who wish to provide this expert service within a mortuary or funeral director's premises.
The event is held at a leading training mortuary in Liverpool. An empathatic approach when working with the bereaved, especially with regard to skin camouflage application, together with a relevant mortician, embalmer or funeral director's qualification is required.

Course 1 : enhance appearance using skin camouflage techniques
Held annually in Chester, and subject to status at your place of work. Led by our tutorial team the two-day seminar is designed to meet the challenges and criteria of NVQ-SVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy for tutors, therapists and make-up artists who provide a camouflage service to enhance their client's appearance during a make-over.
This course will also be of interest to Radiographers wishing to offer their patients the choice of using skin camouflage to conceal tattooed location marks.
The course is endorsed by HABIA and accredited with 13 1/2 continuing professional development (CPD) hours.
